We’re happy about everyone who wants to join in. You don’t need any experience, and you don’t need your own Tracht either. Just get in touch and we’ll tell you when the next practice is.
Our rule here is look first, then commit.
- Dues are per year, collected in February
- Three trial sessions before you decide
- You can leave at any time, effective at the end of the year
- If you can’t afford the dues, talk to the treasurer
Frequently asked questions
Can my child just come along and try it?
Yes, of course. The children’s practice is on Friday at 16:00 at the clubhouse. Every child can join in three times for free, then you decide in your own time. Nobody has to sign up beforehand.
Do you need your own Tracht?
No. For children and teenagers we have a loaner Tracht that’s included in the dues. Adults can take their time, and we help with the tailoring. To start, comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes are enough.
How much does membership cost?
Children and teenagers up to 18 pay €12 a year, adults €30, a family €60. Dues are collected once a year in February. If money is tight, please talk to the treasurer.
Do you have to be from Musterdorf?
No, we also have members from Musterdorf, Musterdorf and Musterdorf. Anyone who comes to practice regularly is welcome.
Do you have to be at every performance?
No. The performances go into the yearly schedule early on, and everyone signs up where it fits. School, work and family come first. Of course we’re glad when lots of people come along to the regional festival.
Can adults with no experience start too?
Yes, and it happens more often than you’d think. The basic steps sit after a few weeks. If you’d rather support than dance, become a supporting member and you’re still part of everything.
