If you sign up through the form or come to a trial practice, you give us your name, contact details and the group you’re interested in. We use this data only to call you back and handle your membership. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
If no membership comes of it, we delete the request after three months.
Member data
For members we store name, address, date of birth, contact details, bank details for collecting dues, and group membership. The basis is the membership relationship under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and the club statutes.
We pass on name, year of birth and group to the regional association (Gauverband) for registration. After a member leaves, the data is deleted as soon as no tax retention periods apply, at the latest after ten years.
Photos from performances and festivals
Photos are taken at performances, festivals and practices. We use them for the club chronicle, the notice board and this website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with § 23 KunstUrhG (German Art Copyright Act), our legitimate interest in showing club life.
For children and teenagers, we get written consent from their parents or guardians beforehand. This consent can be withdrawn at any time for the future. If you’d rather not be in a photo, just tell the board and we won’t publish it.
Collecting dues
For the yearly collection in February, we pass the necessary data on to our bank. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
