2. Our approach

We only collect the data we need to handle your enquiry. We don’t sell data and we don’t pass it on for advertising.

3. Visiting this website

When you open the site, your browser sends technically necessary data to our hosting provider. This includes your IP address, date and time, the page you visited, browser type and operating system. We need this data to run the site securely. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Server logs are deleted after 7 days at the latest.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by a provider with servers in Germany. We have a data processing agreement with the provider under Art. 28 GDPR.

5. Contact and enquiry form

If you send us an enquiry through the form, we process your name, your phone number, optionally your e-mail address, plus your description and any photos you attach. We use this information only to make you an offer and to get in touch with you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and for general enquiries Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Enquiries that don’t lead to a job are deleted after 6 months at the latest. For jobs we carry out, the statutory retention periods of up to 10 years apply.

6. Job applications through the careers page

We process application data such as your name, phone number, the position you want and any documents you choose to send only to carry out the application process. The legal basis is § 26(1) BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. If we don’t hire you, we delete your documents 6 months after the process ends at the latest. If you’d like to stay in our applicant pool for longer, we’ll explicitly ask for your consent first.

7. Phone and e-mail

If you call or write to us, we process your details to deal with your request. An unencrypted e-mail can be read by third parties on its way. For confidential information, please use the phone or regular mail.

8. Cookies and statistics

This site sets no cookies for advertising or analytics. No third-party services are embedded, and no fonts or maps are loaded from external servers. That’s why you don’t see a cookie banner.

9. Who receives your data

Access is limited to the owner and the staff who handle your enquiry, our hosting provider and, if you hire us, our tax office. Your data is not transferred to countries outside the EU.
