The hall on the first floor
Weddings, milestone birthdays, company anniversaries or a funeral reception. We’ve been hosting celebrations for over a hundred years, and we know nobody wants surprises on a day like that.
guests in the hall
At long tables. From 40 guests the hall is yours alone.
guests in the side room
For smaller groups, with its own entrance. On closing days too.
Rooms in the house
Guests from farther away sleep one floor down.
Hall rental
If we do the catering, there’s no rental fee.
Three celebration menus, two buffets and the coffee table are on the site with prices. You can do the math before you call.

Most people don’t book for the room, they book for the area. This is right on our doorstep.
The lake and the shore
A swimming meadow, a sailing school and the pier. From there the boats run out to the Musterinsel and the Klosterinsel.
Musterwand
Cable car from Musterwinkl, with trails at the top for half a day or a whole one. We’ll pack you a Brotzeit (Bavarian cold platter).
The lake loop
About 60 kilometers around the lake, almost all of it flat. Bikes are kept locked in the courtyard.
Musterplatte and the valley
Hikes from two to six hours. At breakfast we’ll tell you which trail makes sense today.

We’re Andrea and Korbinian. The fourth generation in this house.
My great-grandfather started in 1897 with one Stube and three guest rooms. A lot has changed, but not the house. The corner by the tiled stove is still the same as in Grandma’s day.
Korbinian is in the kitchen, I handle the service and look after the rooms. When you eat here, it wasn’t a combi steamer that cooked for you. It was a person in an apron.
We’re closed two days a week. That’s why we still like what we do, and why you get friendly service on the other five days.
Give us a call, or drop us a line.
For a table, one call is enough and takes a minute. For a room, send us your details and you’ll hear back the same day.
