On Fridays there’s also fish from the lake, as long as the fisherman delivers. On Sundays the roast beef goes up on the board outside the door from 11:00. We’re happy to swap side dishes, and it costs nothing extra.

Before you come

Reservations

During the week you’ll almost always find a seat. Friday and Saturday from 18:00 and Sunday lunchtime get busy. For six or more people we always ask you to book, so we can push the tables together.

Vegan and intolerances

There are several vegetarian dishes on the menu, and they’re marked. We’re happy to cook vegan, but we need to know the day before. Otherwise, on a busy Saturday, all we can do at short notice is side dishes. Gluten-free works for many dishes, just ask us.

Where the food comes from

  • Beef and pork from two farms in the valley
  • Whitefish and trout from the fisherman in Musterfeld
  • Bread from the baker in the middle of the village
  • Potatoes, cabbage and berries we grow ourselves
  • Beer from a brewery 20 kilometers away

Paying

We take debit cards and the usual credit cards. Under 10 euros we’re glad to get cash, otherwise there’s nothing left over from the coffee. Separate bills are no problem, even for bigger groups.
