2. Our approach

We only collect the data we need to handle your enquiry and your repair order. We don’t sell data and we don’t pass it on for advertising.

3. Visiting this website

When you open the site, your browser sends technically necessary data to our hosting provider. This includes your IP address, date and time, the page you opened, browser type and operating system. We need this data to run the site securely. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Server logs are deleted after 7 days at the latest.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by a provider with servers in Germany. We have a data processing agreement with the provider under Art. 28 GDPR.

5. Appointment requests via the form

If you send us an appointment request through the form, we process your name, your phone number, your email address if you give it, and your details about the vehicle and what you need. We use this information only to answer your request and arrange an appointment. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and for general enquiries Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Requests that don’t lead to an order are deleted after 6 months at the latest.

6. Repair orders and invoices

If you place an order, we also process vehicle data such as the vehicle identification number, mileage and the work carried out. We need this for handling the order, for warranty and for invoicing. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR together with the retention duties under commercial and tax law. Accordingly, we keep invoice records for up to 10 years.

7. Vehicle inspection (HU)

For the vehicle inspection we pass the necessary vehicle and owner data to the officially recognized testing organization that carries out the inspection. The basis for this is carrying out the inspection required by law.

8. Phone and email

If you call or write to us, we process your details to deal with your request. An unencrypted email can be read by third parties on its way. For confidential information, please use the phone or regular mail.

9. Cookies and statistics

This site doesn’t set any cookies for advertising or analytics. No third-party services are embedded, and no fonts or maps are loaded from external servers. That’s why there’s no cookie banner either.

10. Who receives your data

Access is limited to the owner and the staff dealing with your request, plus our hosting provider. If there’s an order, our tax accountant has access too, the testing organization does for an inspection, and parts suppliers and insurers do when needed. Your data is not transferred to countries outside the EU.
