Five areas we handle in-house
Everything for cars and light commercial vehicles, whatever the make. If there’s something we can’t do ourselves, we’ll tell you, and we know who can.

Inspection and maintenance
We service your car to the manufacturer’s schedule, with approved oils and fluids, and we log the service. Compared to the dealer, nothing changes for you except the price.
- Minor and major inspection to the manufacturer’s schedule
- Oil, filters, spark plugs, brake fluid, cabin air filter
- Entry in the service book, digital or stamped
- Before the appointment we tell you what’s due and what can wait another year

Repairs and wear parts
Brakes, clutch, exhaust, shock absorbers, timing belt, water pump, wheel bearings. Everyday garage work, and the part where most bills get unpleasant. Not here, because you know the cost range before we start.
- Cost estimate when you drop the car off, and a call if anything changes
- You can take the old parts home if you like
- We’ll also tell you when a repair isn’t worth it on an older car
- If you can’t drive anymore, we’ll arrange the tow truck

A/C service
An A/C system loses a little refrigerant every year. If it stops cooling, there’s usually too little in it, or there’s a leak somewhere. We check first, then we refill.
- For both common refrigerants, newer vehicles included
- Leak detection with UV dye instead of refilling blind
- Cabin filter and disinfection to get rid of the smell
- Worth doing about every two years, ideally in spring

Accident repair
After an accident, the paperwork is often more stressful than the damage. We assess the damage, photograph it and handle the correspondence with the insurer if you want us to.
- Damage assessment with photos, on the day you bring the car in
- Contact with the assessor and the insurer, handled entirely by us if you like
- Courtesy car while the repair is underway
- Bodywork and mechanics in house, paintwork is done by a partner paint shop

Electrics and troubleshooting
Modern cars report faults but don’t explain them. A fault memory tells you where something looks off, not why. So we measure, instead of swapping parts until something happens to work.
- Reading the fault memory and explaining the result in plain words
- Testing and replacing batteries, and coding them on start/stop systems
- Alternator, starter, lighting, broken wires
- Some coding can only be done by the manufacturer. If that’s the case, we’ll tell you.
What we don’t do
Because an honest no is better than a half-hearted attempt.
Paintwork
We don’t have our own paint booth. Paint jobs go to a partner paint shop, and we handle everything for you.
Classic car restoration
We’re happy to service and repair older vehicles. A restoration that takes months isn’t our line of work.
Trucks and buses
We work on cars and light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. Anything heavier and our lifts can’t handle it.

Not sure what’s wrong?
Describe what the car is doing, so the noise, the warning light, how it behaves. We’ll tell you whether it’s urgent and roughly what it will cost.
