Sepp and Rosi Mustermann run the inn in the third generation. Bavarian cooking, a lunch menu on weekdays, a roast on Sundays. Upstairs there are eight guest rooms. Tuesday is our rest day.
Schweinsbraten (roast pork) with crackling and potato dumplings. Schnitzel, Leberkäs with a fried egg, beef goulash with bread dumplings. Trout on Fridays. Without meat there’s Käsespätzle and mushroom goulash.
On Sundays from 11:30, roasts while they last. Duck too from October to January. On Sundays it’s worth calling ahead · the Stube is usually full.
The wood-paneled Stube dates from 1954, and so does the tiled stove. Sixty seats, plus a side room for twenty-four, for birthdays, christenings and funeral gatherings. In summer there are twelve tables outside under the chestnut trees.
The regulars’ table is taken from 19:00. You can still sit down · we’ll just squeeze up.
From 11:30 to 14:00 there are two dishes, one of them without meat. With soup or salad it’s €9.80. What’s on that day is written on the board next to the door.
Rosi cooks, Sepp works the bar and the floor. Plus two waitresses and a helper on weekends. That’s all of us.
We’re happy to tell you at the table about ingredients that can cause allergies. A written list is kept at the counter.
Two single rooms, five double rooms, one triple room. All with shower and toilet, four of them with a balcony facing the local mountain. Breakfast is included.
We don’t have an elevator. Eighteen steps lead upstairs. We’d rather tell you before than after.

The kitchen closes an hour before the inn, on Sundays at 19:30. Hotel guests get their breakfast on Tuesdays too.
Closed for two weeks in November and one week after Easter.
