Sepp and Rosi Mustermann run the inn in the third generation. Bavarian food from our own kitchen, eight guest rooms upstairs, a side room for twenty-four. Tuesday is our rest day.

Downstairs we cook and pour, upstairs you sleep, out back we celebrate. If you stay the night, you don’t have to get in the car after dinner. If you hold a party here, your guests from out of town can stay in the house.
There are six of us. Rosi cooks, Sepp is behind the bar, two waitresses, one part-time helper, one kitchen assistant. That’s not modesty, that’s the whole business.

All with shower and WC, all with breakfast included. Four have a south-facing balcony. Each room page lists the square meters, beds, furnishings and the prices by season, so you don’t have to call to find out what it costs.

A 180 × 200 bed frame with separate mattresses, shower and WC, desk. Three rooms with a south-facing balcony.
€84 to €98 per night, with breakfast See the room
Bed 100 × 200, shower and WC, desk and armchair. The window faces the inner courtyard, so it’s quiet even on weekends.
€52 to €62 per night, with breakfast See the room
A double bed and a single bed, with space for a cot. The biggest room in the house, under the roof, with a balcony facing the Hausberg.
€108 to €126 per night, with breakfast See the room

Schweinsbraten (roast pork) with crackling, Wiener Schnitzel, goulash, trout on Fridays, Kaiserschmarrn to finish. Monday to Friday there’s a lunch menu for €9.80 with soup or salad.
On the menu you can filter for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and kids’ portions. Every dish carries its allergen codes. If you have an intolerance, you’ll see in ten seconds what’s left for you · instead of zooming around a PDF on your phone.
We’ve been driving here for the Sunday roast for years. The crackling is right, the Knödel doesn’t fall apart, and nobody rushes you. Sepp recognizes you the second time you come.
We had our daughter’s christening in the side room, twenty four people. Everything on time, everything hot, and the price we agreed beforehand was exactly what ended up on the bill.
Clean room, plenty for breakfast, friendly staff. Two things I’ll be honest about. The stairs up are steep and there’s no elevator. Not a problem for us, but it would be for my mother. And on Saturday night the Stube was loud, and our room was right above it.
Lunch menu for €9.80 with soup. I live in the village and go twice a week. There’s always something without meat, which isn’t a given around here.
On this sample site the reviews are made up and written in as fixed text. Nothing is loaded from an outside provider, no script, no logo, no image.

Birthdays, christenings, small weddings, club evenings and funeral receptions. Three set menus at fixed prices, no room hire, no deposit, no minimum spend.
We put up guests from out of town in the house, as long as rooms are free. That saves the argument at the end of the night about who’s driving.

The Musterplatte lift is ten minutes on foot, and the trail up the Hausberg starts at the edge of the village. Seven runs in winter.

Twenty minutes by car to the beach at Musterau, half an hour to the boats at Musterprien.

The riverside path along the Ache starts behind our car park. Flat, shady, good after a meal.
For a table, a phone call is all it takes. For a room, the booking request works best. Enter your arrival and departure, and we count the nights and estimate the price by season. It only becomes binding once we confirm by email.
If we’re busy in the kitchen, leave a message. We’ll call back in the afternoon.
