What your house is worth depends on more than the postcode.
An online estimate takes the location, the size and a few averages. It doesn’t see the renovated barn, or the view, and it certainly doesn’t see the state of the roof. That’s why there’s always a visit on site between a rough number and one you can rely on.
When you call us, we first ask for the address, the year it was built and the rough floor area. That’s enough for a first, rough range, free and without obligation. For a number you can actually plan with, one of us comes out to see the house. It usually takes an hour and costs you nothing, as long as you don’t end up selling.
rough online range
with a visit on site
Move the slider. The further right you go, the more local knowledge goes into it, from the plain online range to the number after a real visit. (Sample calculation for a mid-sized house in the region.)
What we look at when we visit
Not just square meters. The condition of the roof, the heating and the windows, whether it was renovated and when, where the property line really runs, and what has actually sold nearby in the last two years. Not the prices people put up on the portals.
Energy certificate
For an actual sale you need a valid energy performance certificate under § 87 of the Buildings Energy Act (GEG). If you don’t have one yet, we’ll tell you during the visit which type is enough for your house and who issues them nearby.
