I grew up in Musterdorf, and after school I first trained in something completely different, until I realized I wanted to work with people and not with files. In 2011 I qualified as a state-certified beautician at the vocational school in the neighboring town.
After that I spent seven years at a hotel spa by the lake, the last three as its manager. That’s where I learned how to work properly, and how not to. Fifteen minutes between two clients isn’t enough, and anyone who has to push products eventually stops giving honest advice.
In 2019 I opened my own studio, with two treatment rooms and deliberately fewer appointments a day. It matters to me that you don’t go home with a bag full of products you’ll never use. Better two things that make a difference than eight that gather dust in the bathroom.
Sophie has been working with me since 2023. She trained in the county town, and her focus is lashes and nails. If you come in for extensions, you’ll usually be with her, and that’s a good thing. She’s better at it than I am.
