How it works

It takes 90 minutes of your time, at most.

Spread over two weeks. One conversation, one batch of photos, one sign-off. Everything else is on us until the site is live.

Rocky mountain path along a ridge
20 minFirst conversation. You tell us about your business, we ask the questions.
30 minGather photos and details. Phone photos are fine.
40 minLook through the draft and tell us what to change.
Step 01Day 0 · 10 minutes

You get in touch

An email with your business name and town is enough, and so is a phone call. In the first conversation we figure out what you offer, what bothers you about your current site and what the new one should do. That rarely takes more than ten minutes. We can meet in person, but we don’t have to.

At this point you don’t need to prepare anything or sign anything.

Who does what You get in touch and answer a few questions. We take it all down and look at your industry and your competitors.
Step 02Day 1 to 4 · free

We build the draft

You get a real homepage for your business. Not a sketch on paper but a working page you can open on your phone and scroll through. We write the copy, and for images we start with placeholders or publicly available photos of your business.

The draft is free and you’re under no obligation. The work is on our side.

Who does what You have nothing to do in this step. We handle the structure, design and copy and put the first version online.
Step 03Day 4 to 6 · your decision

You look at it and decide

You get a link and can look at the draft in peace, with your family or your employees if you like. If it doesn’t convince you, just say no. It costs you nothing, and we won’t keep following up.

If you want to go ahead, we put the package, price and date in writing. The first half is due then, the second only once the website is live.

Who does what You look at the draft, decide, and confirm the order if you say yes. We answer your questions and send the quote in writing.
Step 04Day 6 to 10 · your part

We make the website yours

Now your content comes in, meaning photos, prices, opening hours and services. It’s the only step where we really need something from you. If photos are missing, we take them during a visit on site. If copy is missing, a half-hour conversation is enough and we write it.

This step decides whether the 14 days hold. Technology rarely slows things down. Missing content does.

Who does what You send photos, prices, opening hours and the login for your domain. We build everything in, prepare the images and go over the copy with you.
Step 05Day 10 to 13 · fine tuning

Changes and sign-off

You go through the site and tell us what should change. A different color, a different picture, a reworded sentence, a missing service. Until you sign off, changes are unlimited and free.

The technical check runs at the same time. Load time, how the site looks on different devices, contrast, forms, legal notice (Impressum), privacy policy and the redirects from the old site.

Who does what You go through the site, collect change requests and sign off at the end. We make the changes, check the technical side and finish the legal texts.
Step 06Day 14 · live

The website goes live

The domain gets switched over. A few minutes later your customers see the new site. The old one goes offline, and old addresses are redirected so nobody lands on an error page. If you added the Google Business Profile, we set it up or update it in this step and connect it to the site.

After that comes a half-hour walkthrough so you can change opening hours, prices and copy yourself. You get all the logins. The site belongs to you, even if you work with someone else later. Only then does the final invoice come.

Who does what You join the walkthrough and keep the logins somewhere safe. We handle the switchover, redirects, walkthrough and handover.
Your part

What we need from you

It’s not much. But without these details the site can’t be finished, and the 14 days depend on them.

Must have

The basics

  • Your business name exactly as it appears in the commercial register or on your business license
  • Address, phone number, email address
  • Opening hours or when you can be reached
  • Details for the legal notice, such as your VAT ID or chamber membership
Must have

Content

  • What you offer. Bullet points are fine
  • Prices, or at least price ranges, if you want to show them
  • Photos of your business, your team and your work. Phone photos are fine
  • If you have none of this, a half-hour conversation is enough
If you have it

Technical

  • The login for your domain or the name of your provider
  • Access to your existing Google Business Profile, only if you added the profile
  • Your logo, ideally as a file from your designer
  • Old site. What should carry over and what can go
Planning

When it takes longer

Content arrives late

The most common reason. Without photos and prices the site can’t be finished. If the pictures arrive two weeks late, 14 days turn into a month.

Several people have a say

If three people in the business have a say, the rounds of corrections drag on. It’s best to decide beforehand who gets the last word.

Large packages

For Ridge and Summit with lots of subpages, galleries and booking requests, three to four weeks is realistic. The date is set beforehand, not afterwards.

Next step

Step 1 takes ten minutes.

One sentence is enough. Which business, which town. We’ll look at the rest ourselves. You’ll hear back the same day.
