What’s not included.

This list is here because trouble usually comes from the wrong expectations. Read it before you say yes.

  • A professional photographer. The photos are taken with a smartphone, and in most cases that’s enough. If you want, we’ll arrange a photographer, who bills you directly and usually costs €400 to €900.
  • A logo or a brand. We don’t design logos. An existing logo gets prepared for the website, and without one the website is designed around typography.
  • Paid advertising. We don’t run ads on Google, Facebook or Instagram, and we don’t manage ad budgets either. We are happy to set up the profiles themselves. If you want to start with it, you get an honest opinion on whether it’s worth it for your business.
  • Ongoing search engine optimization. The basics are included, meaning a clean structure, a fast website and a separate page for each service. The Google Business Profile is a separate offer for €89. Monthly SEO support with reports and backlinks isn’t something we offer.
  • The number one spot on Google. Nobody can honestly promise that.
  • An online store with payments. Shopping cart, shipping, payment providers, right of withdrawal. That’s a project of its own with its own quote, and it isn’t part of these packages. Preorders without payment are possible, though.
  • Legal advice. We set up the legal notice (Impressum) and privacy policy following common practice. We can’t and aren’t allowed to give a legally binding guarantee. That’s a job for a lawyer.
  • Your domain and your email inboxes. They’re in your name and you pay for them, usually €5 to €15 a year. That’s on purpose. This way the address belongs to you, not to us.
  • Copy in other languages. A second language version is possible, but the translation is done by a translator and billed separately.
  • Other systems you already use. POS systems, inventory software, booking portals. Connecting them is sometimes doable and sometimes not. We look into it beforehand and tell you before you say yes.

If any of this matters to you, mention it in the first conversation. Then it either gets planned in, or we tell you we’re not the right fit for it. Both are better than finding out afterward.

What’s still possible

Not in the package, but doable

Not every business needs these add-ons. If you do, we set them up to fit your website.

Extra €300 to €500

Online booking or ordering

Appointment booking for salons and practices, preorders for the butcher shop, room requests for the guesthouse. Set up, connected to your website and tested.

On request

Multilingual

A second language version, usually English. Makes sense for restaurants and rentals, less so for a trades business.

Billed directly to you

A photographer

Only worth it if you work a lot with images, for example for rooms or in cosmetics. We’ll arrange one if you want, and they’ll bill you directly.

FAQ

What businesses ask about this

Do you build online stores too?

Not in these packages. A shop with a cart, payment provider, shipping and return rights is a project of its own with its own quote. We know the work involved from a shop we built ourselves.

Pre-orders without payment are possible, though, for a butcher shop, for example.

Is the site legally safe?

We set up a legal notice (Impressum) under § 5 DDG and a privacy policy under the GDPR, matched to what your website actually does. We never load fonts from outside servers, they’re delivered with the website. That exact point is where a wave of legal warning letters hit many businesses in 2022.

To be clear. We’re not a law firm, legal advice isn’t part of what we offer, and we can’t give a legally binding guarantee. The texts follow common practice and are set up so a lawyer can easily check them if you want.

The draft costs you nothing.

One sentence is enough. Which business, which town. We’ll look at the rest ourselves. You’ll hear back the same day.
