The Stube

Renovated 2019

Three weeks in February 2019. The wood paneling stayed the same, just sanded down and freshly oiled. What’s new are the lights over the tables, the oak floor and the seat cushions. Nobody touched the tiled stove.

The facade

Renovated 2016

The plaster had come away on the weather side. In 2016 it was replastered and painted, and Brandstätter the joiner made new shutters. The Lüftlmalerei over the door is the original. It was uncovered, not repainted.

All eight bathrooms were redone in one go in 2021, and the house was closed for six weeks. Walk-in showers, a grab bar, bigger mirrors. The bathtub is gone. The room was too small for it.
